I'm wondering what the laws are for direct shipment from a winery to a store. I know that each state is different, but anyone know what the laws are in your state?

I am starting a new job with a very small production Sonoma winery and I make money on each case I sell. Doesn't matter where it is.

They are not fond of distributorships because they get virtually no attention yet they should! Their winemaker cut his teeth at Matanzas Creek and Ferrari-Carano here in the states as well as working in Barossa and Stellenbosch.

I've only had their Merlot so far and it is highly concentrated, beautifully balanced wine.

I would love any and all comments/advice.

Here in MA the three tier system is the only legal way to get wine. Have you looked this up at www.wineinstitute.com or some of the other web sites related to wine business?
