1996 Duval-Leroy Blancs de Chardonnay

Pale-ish gold, and the mousse is still a fairly big bead. Tons of honey with lemon, some biscuit and almond. Great acidity and a very long finish. The 3 bottles of this I’ve had in the past 3 months have not been as good as the previous bottle I had 2.5 years ago, so if you’re holding this I’d say it’s time to drink up. This is a fully mature, wonderful Champagne that is a QPR gem. 92 points.
