2005 Dominus
I love Dominus but it is not a cheap wine. It is a bit of a ringer for bordeaux, only better than many!.

This vintage was a pretty decent one but the wines, as with most Dominus, are about balance first, not doubt primal in fruit, the nose says it all, but there is some herbiness in it, a bit of black olives, and a nice structure to hold it all up. There is no rush with this wine. Still a bit tannic and tight in fact.
