2012 Anthill Farms Syrah

This is located in that very neat / strange / folkies / startupish feeling group winery "park" a few miles north of the Dry Creek General Store. This was another "pickup party" and the winery is not generally opened (in fact it does not even have a sign on the front door).

The basic syrah was in fact one of my favs. A bit candied, berries, simple but very fresh, very light and not very serious about itself. Short termer and meant to be consumed on release. Nice bbq wine.
