2003 Chateau Saint Pierre

I've never had much older Saint Pierre. It's a brand that I first noticed in '08 and have tried to drink backwards, having recently had the 05. So this is my first 03.

Again, what a lovely wine. I am starting to be come a fan of this winery. Costs are somewhat in line and slightly below their competition for the same quality. As with many 03's this one was somewhat broad in flavours and attack. It is a nice perfumey body to it. Great density of flavors while retaining a bit of elegance that many 03's miss. Well put together, good finish. Not my fav SP but this is definitely a decent represenation of 03 Bordeaux.
