Wine raffles and auctions

Thought Winoweenie and possibly others would be interested in the wine raffles and auctions that Carolina Wine Company is conducting weekly to benefit Frankie Lemmon School for children with special needs. This past week they auctioned off older vintages of a Lafite and a Chateau d'Yquem and the raffle winner (who bought five tickets at $10 per)won a magnum of Dominus. This week they are offering case lots of 1996 Chateau Talbot
and various other wines, and six bottles of Beau Freres Pinot Noir with six bottles of Skewis Montgomery Pinot Noir, etc. Their aim is to raise $55,000 to send five children to the school ($11,000 per child).
