2003 Grand Vin Du Chateau Bernadotte
Haut-Medoc. Found myself alone two nights ago as my wife was out shopping sooooo I popped this and settled in the Christmassy living room, cranked up the home theater's ipod with Christmas music and sipped on this for several hours. Dark in the glass with ripe, but not overly so, earthy black currant, cedar box, mineral, tobacco with a hint of dark chocolate flavors. This is a dark, savory wine that's balanced with a linguring finish....a blissful evening alone. 13% Alc/vol.
