Happy Mothers' Day to all the moms.....

Here, she's been napping while I drain the escargot, whip up the crepes suzzette, air the wine ('01 Ch. Talbot) and prepare to grill the filet mignons over oak. She didn't want Champagne, so will return that to the cellar.

(burp) Mercy! And haven't even had the crepes yet!

The vino was supremo with only two hours of air time. She insisted on sides of oven-roasted spuds and broccoli; steaks came out wunderbar!

Reminded us of our first year of marriage, in Germany.... idyllic, never to be forgotten.
