More on Antinori - The Marchese's ancestor was admitted to the Chianti Classico guild in 1385.... that's 1385, no typo. He kind of knows his Chianti! Ask to try his Antinori Chianti Classico Tenuta Marchese.... the earliest I have is the'01, the latest, the '05. They're magnificent! The finest examples of Chianti Classico that I've encountered. Haven't counted the number of cases I've bought, but it's NOT ENOUGH!
