Green lights

The green lights keep coming on in threads that I have already read and the lights had previously already gone out but no new post has been registered.

Thomas, I believe Alex, or his minions, are working on this. He said a few days ago that it would be fixed in a week.

The green lights are working fine for me. This is probably an issue related to cookies. Alex's guys are pretty competent, so I'm sure they'll check this out.

You didn't have this problem, Thomas, before the new forum software went live?

Jackie, I have the same issue as Thomas and did not experience the issue before the new software...that's why I asked previously about preferences. Thanks.

Not only didn't I have the problem before the makeover, the problem is intermittent.

I tried to start a new topic, but got only a blank screen.

I am wondering if we can get a primer on formatting.

Right now, no paragraph breaks, don't know how to use the formatting help tips. I'm assuming that in order to format, we have to get out of the posting mode and into some other mode.

For instance, according to the formatting help, if you do *this* you get bold type, but of course all I got was the word with a star on either end of it.
