Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre
label has alcohol from 14.1-16%
Kevin Mitchell, winemaker and proprietor
Grapes sourced from McLaren Vale, Clare Valley and the Barossa Valley districts. Traditional winemaking techniques and maturation in older French and American casks.
Purple-crimson color; nearly opaque. Quite juicy and ripe with red fruit predominant. Strikes me as a fun and casual quaffer that went well with a Sloppy Joe for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday and with a vegetarian pizza during the game (purchased the pizza crust and used a coating of EVOO and pizza sauce, shredded Asiago and Cheddar cheese, artichoke bottoms, bell pepper, onion, button mushrooms and olives.)
GSM--Great Superbowl Medley or Mouthfull
