A VERY well made Napa cab for fair pricing. very dark in the glass, almost opaque. Rich flavors of dusty raspberry, currant and black fruit with a hint of spice and smokiness. Very balanced and elegant and totally food friendly, imho. Fine tannins are present from entry through the long finish. Sampled at one of my favorite wine holes. I really loved this wine for $17. 13.7% Alc/vol. Seems to have it all.

Their Monte Rosso Zin is still stellar. Gallo (the current owner) just had a clearance sale of some recent vintages that they needed to clear out and it included the '98 for $7. Tried to get through all weekend of the sale, and failed!!!

The cab grapes from this vineyard have made some of the best juice ever made in Sonoma plus cuttings from this Martini clone grace some of the best vineyards in Calif. WW

just checked back on the web site and B-21 also has the '00 martini alexander valley reserve cab at $19.99. might have to give both this and the sonoma county cab a try.
