Many of the WA Cabs have been so overoaked that I was suspect of all of them for a while. Over the years, some clear standouts have emerged, Andrew Will being one of them (for the most part).

!993 A-W "R" - Black fruit and a hint of oak on the nose. The wine is very balanced on the palate, with sweet red and black fruit, moderate but softening tannins, oak that accentuates rather than obscures the wine, a slight hint of tobacco, nice acidity, and a moderate aftertaste -- a very lovely wine. Good job, Chris.
