This weekend, I was planning on making a dish that called for Marsala wine. Any recomendations or things that I should be sure to stay clear of?

Thanks...

twon45, welcome to the board. As far as steering clear, avoid anything specifically sold as "cooking wine". It is, by law I believe, loaded with salt to make it undrinkable. A simple rule is "If you won't drink it, don't cook with it". You don't have to spend a fortune, just get something halfway decent.

Catch22's right on twon...you should be able to find many good Marsala's in the $10 or less range for cooking.
