2008 JJ Prum Riesling Kabinett

This is the base Kabinett from JJ Prum. On opening, the sulfur is so thick, it is hard to find the wine. It needed a lot of air to blow off but behind it is a very nice and vervy wine. Very acidic, Kabinett fans will like this vintage. Teeth achingly acidic but with a nice fruit and structure around it.

Maybe because it was jsut shipped?, but now that it has had some time to settle down a bit, this bottle was a bit different, better. still vervy but slightly more round and solid, but still that nice sharp acidity backbone. Perfect for the warm day yesterday.
