'01 Chateau Saint-Sulpice, Bordeaux-A.O.C. ($9.00 Blue Hill Wine Shop). Alcohol level 12.5%, wouldn't you guess? This is a Right Bank negotiant; that blends it Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, and Cabernet Franc 10%. It is a soft, well balanced wine that goes well with things like broiled fillet steak and salad in B.C. dressing, as we did tonight. Will pick up some more on the next trip. When Mother takes two or more glasses, and I like it, it's a keeper.
