I joined a wines of the month club that delivers 2 or 4 bottles to you every month. The wines are imported and they pick different ones each time, although you can specify white or red.

They also have a compensation plan if you promote their club. For example if you refer 3 people then you get your monthly wine for free.

Sales Forecasting

I have recently been asked to help out a small winery and forecast sales for 2017, they would like down for the rest of 2016 and for 2017. They want to make sure they buy enough grapes for Harvest to provide for the sales projections.
Any tips on how you would do this for every sku and projected by cases sold, woud be a great help.

Hi everyone, we are a small company from Spain. Our company is made by sommeliers that have been in the wine industry for quite some time. Throughout the years we have created great alliances with wine makers and now they are relying on us to place their brands in the United States. We are representing over 80 brands from different appellations origin, types and varietals. Some of our clients are very small wineries that produce up to 1000 bottles of a specific brand, with accolades. Please if anyone in the industry is interested in new brands to distribute, send me a private message.

I am in California and have received a license to resell wine. I can deliver locally or ship via UPS/Fedex. It's been a long battle to get to this point. My plan is to have folks hit my website and enter wines they would like me to shop for them. This way I can sell the wines for less than the "suggested retail" since there is no price shown. I can get folks great wines and save them big money. Am I allowed to post the website address on this thread? Any wines I can shop for you? Located in Brea California.

Arrest made in the Major wine vandalism case

Italian police just announced they have made an arrest of an ex-employee in ther vandalism case at Brunello di Montaccino estate. Seems like this dude had a record and got slightly upset when he was demoted and another employee got his housing. Guess he dint agree so down the drain went 8 mill worth of what will now be even more scarce juice. Hate it whenced this happenz. WW

Interesting article in bloomberg.com this morning about the wine business in Napa: â€¢Vineyard Defaults Surge as Lost California Land Values Undermine Napa Wine".

Must confess to a touch of Schadenfreud at that. The writer says that consumers are trading down, going for lower-priced juice from other areas, leaving highly-leveraged Napa growers in the lurch; nothing is said about the impact on the European trade, but it may well be that some of them are also mortgaged to the hilt.

I don't buy high-end Napa juice, so I don't really care. But I'm seeing a leveling-off in the recent trend of price escalation for European wines, and I'm grateful for that.
