So I was kinda looking forward to tasting it too. So? It was okay. I don't drink a lot of Albarino but I like this crisp light wine which has a nice aromatic nose. This was frankly unrecognizable to me as an albarino. It was too dense, too thick, oaked and too ripe. I mean it is not a poorly made, wine. It was well made, it just was not an Albarino to me.]]>

This is a lovely wine just loaded with fruit and easy to drink. We served it with beef loin ends Teriyaki, rice made with beef stock, and salad. A great Saturday night dinner; yum!]]>

Darkest of the three wines, most reserved nose, though stil a wonder full wine to drink, there is more there. Dark fruits, some spices only hint at what is being masked. A bit funky, earthy, but only a bit. Will be massive one day. Gotta love it.]]>

On the palate, just a bit behind the 94, not as complete. Very long finish and very satisfying. by itself it would be a great wine.]]>

It's been a while since I've had an older Spanish wine that was not trying to rock my socks off with volume. This thing did it with pure elegance and complexity!

Good fruit still but given a nice posture with the balancing acidity, lovely structure, a hint of savouriness, elegant and medium plus plus finish, but good persistence. Lovely stuff. Prices are starting to go up on these things. I was also told that they cannot continue to offer their library program anymore (too many people were paying the high prices but getting perfectly cellared bottles direct from winery).

I've got a few older Bosconia and even their whites which will be interesting to open.]]>
