I bought this bottle on my last cruise vacation. I'm not very knowledgeable about Jerezes or Ports, but life is a learning experience so I bought this bottle.

Color was total crystal white/transparent with just a hint of yellow. Very clean.

Nose of almonds in the front and tropical fruit in the back. Totally different to what I'm use to with still/normal white wine.

This wine was very strong, 15% alcohol, but not as strong that I was expecting.

The almond and fruit combination continues in the taste and have a long finish that just keep asking you for just another taste.

Really like this wine.

My biggest concern is that I bought this bottle and open it thinking that this was like Tawny Port, that you can open today and enjoy for a couple of weeks.

But found out that this was not the case. White Sherry is made to be consumed immediately...

You really learn something new everyday...

Yep, pretty much have to drink this in one sitting. Or at least finish it up the next day. If I remember correctly, I've only found this wine in a 750ml bottle. I'ld like to find this in 375ml or 500ml bottle. It would be much easier going to work the next day. It's always nice to hear someone who likes finos. Not many of us around.

Finos have short legs. I've found the best way to enjoy them is by the glass at a bar when the bottle has just been opened.
