- joeyz6 - 09-05-2001 Judging by the title of this section, is it somewhat correct to say that the darker the zin, the "better" it will be? - winoweenie - 09-05-2001 Joey26, No ole' bean, the title refers to the fact that 91&1/2% of the wine drinking public know only White Zinfandel, and most would get into a fist-fight wif' you if you dint' agree that the zinfandel grape was a (SOB) SW. WW - Cadell - 09-06-2001 Funny, I didn't even know about "white" zin until after I had been drinkin the good red stuff for a few months....haven't tried it either.....here's another sacriligious statement....I like to sip on a good (red) Zin sans any food, can't help it, while it may not be the norm, I luvs da stuff. Gave my youngest half-brother a glass to try last xmas, and he took one sip decided he didn't like it and was gonna pour it down the drain. I had to smack the heathen in the back of the head, take my wine back and inform him that he MUST have gotten the family genes with rotten proteins. - winoweenie - 09-06-2001 Cadell......you be the man!!!
