Buehler...Buehler...Buehler

95% Zin and 5% Petite Sirah

Ferris would have loved this wine.
Dark, opaque, black/purple with magenta tinges. My sniffer is stopped up so can't report on the nose. Very rich, dark plummy, ripe and spicy, raspberry, chocolatey flavors, full bodied and no hint of wood. Loved this wine but paired with jerk pork tenderloin and it overwhelmed. Would pair it with roasted meat or steak. A wonderful, full throtle zin for $15 at OC. 14.9%Alc/vol.

"Something D-O-O economics . . . Voodoo economics."

I think of that scene every time I see Ben Stein.

Wine sounds great, and I'll look for it. Thanks for the entertaining and informative TN.

Musta' been an over-turned cement truck to plug-up that probisciuos. John Buehler and I have been friends since his killer 78 offering. Has a marvelous estate above the Valley on the Silverado Trail just above Stags Leap and makes TONS of GOOOOOOD well-priced juice that pleases even these ole' jaded taste-buds. WW

Thanks for the heads up! I'll look for this one to continue my education in zins.
