A poor bottle that was rightly rated low. A very sour start that ends with a short empty finish. Nothing good to say here. Not recommended.

how disappointing. thanks for the warning. their '97 bottling was my first case buy ever and still rates as the best value wine i've ever had. the quality has consistently dropped since. judging from the flavor profiles, i believe that the juice that used to go into the sonoma heritage vines is now going into the dry creek valley reserve. and the sonoma heritage vines is getting juice that used to go into the dancing bull zin. i don't plan on trying the dancing bull again to guess where their juice is now coming from.

97 was the last highly rated vintage and for once I agree with the "experts."
