Blackened some wild Coho salmon for lunch yesterday and decided I'd need some muscle to lift them spices offn' the tongue. This did the trick. Brite medium ruby Nose of sweet spices, deep red and black fruits and a touch of vanilla. All hit the palate. The entry had finesse, a weighty center and a solid 4 lapper finish. 90/90 Under 20 on futures 14.5% alc. A lovely, balanced, richly endowed zin that still needs another 2-4 to shed its soft tannins. Makes me drool. Of course I drool easily!

Had one last night too. All his zin's are right up my alley. Cabs leave me guessing though.

His cabs need a minimum of 7-10 to get their act together. WW

Opened another today at lunch with stuffed red bell peppers stuffed with ground turkey, basil and spices and a nice marinara souce. A match made in culinary hebbun. So good I think I'll kill the remaining 2 with some grilled yellow squash tonite. No change in scoring. WW
