I really like Patrick Campbell's wines that I've sampled, (In my price range I loves me some 'Reds' and 'Terra Rosa'), so I wondered if anyone has tried his new Zinfandel offering, 'Za Zin'. It's not on the shelves here yet, so I thought I'd ask if any of youse guys and gals think it's worth me rattling some cages to get it shipped into town?

Z-Duece I totally agree on Misser Campbells juice. Has made some of the outstanding P/Q bottlings since inception. Will look for this sinfandull tomollow. WW

I made a few calls, found a bottle way 'crost town. It's good zin, just enough acid to offset the alcohol (14.5%, which is restrained zin winemaking these days) made with select old vine Lodi fruit. Went well with tonites garlicky meatloaf and sourdough, oven roasted potatoes, Tillamook cheddar and salad. Sweetish fruit, a tasty ripe Zin, with good color, good nose. In it's price range ($15) it can hold it's head up with the competition.

My half-bottle disappeared too soon.

0ZDuece....Not only rattle cages but bring in the local catbirds with their Uzis' and make sure they unnerstand this sucker needs exposure. Think the Gabors have singularly and in cocert have elevated Pats' winemaking skills to a level that only a Chezk of their marvelous bosum feelings could have produced such a wine of such uplifting and suckular feelings. Glad you like it, amigo! I found another store carrying it yesterday for $13.50, so I'll go back and stock up with the next bit of income...this is the same store that has such a good price on Hedges Three Vineyards juice ($16.50) and I spent the whole budget over in that aisle.
