Please, my Doctor has advised that I need to drink a glass of red wine daily. From the ones I have sampled, I do not like dry wines. I do however, like to taste of the Lambrusco, it is somewhat too sweet though.

Can you shed some light for me. Thank you.

Hi Shiellaberra and welcome to the board. Think most people on the board suggest a newbie drinker to get a Beaujolais Villages or Neauveau as they are very fruit fiendly without the sugar. Lots out there to choose from. WW

If you are going to drink only one glass a day (which I think isn't enough) you need to learn how to preserve the wine that is left in the bottle. The best way is to get some half bottles, clean them and have them ready so that when you open a full bottle (750ml) you right away pour half of it into one of the half bottles, and then refrigerate it until you want more, but no more than five days.

The reason for more than one half bottle will come to you as you fall in love with more and more wines...
