Another blockbuster wine from this fine patch of vines. Almost purple, lots of spicy, black fruits with just a touch of heat from the 14.8% alky.Great entry that lets you know immediately this is serious juice, weighty center and a long finish. Bakers chocolate mingles with a hint of Mexican vanilla (jes' back in time to use that'un) and massive doses of FRUIT!. This is always one of my favorite zins. Their 22 year old vines are on the benchlands between Carneros and Mt. Veeder. Block 7 is their prime block. WW

Sounds like one I'd really enjoy if I can find it. Price?

The old Rosenblum George Hendry Reserves were always a favorite.
