Blended with Merlot, Cab. Franc, Cab. Sauvignon and Malbec. Very floral! The room was filled with floral wine scents when opened. Clear dark garnet. Very smooth with dark berry and sweet vanilla notes that translate into a balanced, pretty wine with just a touch of astringency. Very elegent and delicate...nothing in your face, actually borders on too lean but very nice.
$16 in Bay Country.

Hi Drew. My, you`ve put on a few! Guenoc made some fine wines Q/P in 97.Think we went over the cab on another thread. I, agree with your TNs on the Meritage. Where is Belair? One of my daughters had a horse farm near Cockysville for years. Pretty country. WW

WW, Belair is just about 15 miles northeast of Cockeysville. It's the beginning of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed area near where the Susquehanna River flows into the Bay. Very nice country but very built up now, we're considered a suburb of "Bawlimer".

WW - horse farm -cockeysville -

Cinnamon Tree Restaurant, Hunt Valley Inn.......

Oh dear, my memory gets the best of me.... in Cockeysville....

Best seafood restaurant around for miles:

GIBBY'S SEAFOOD
2318 YORK RD LUTHERVILLE MD

Been there many times................

If'n you know about the horse farms in Hunt Valley and Cockeysville, then you just gotta know about the fox chases and horse shows in Fair Hill......

Do ya?

And to keep this thread on-track..... If Guenoc makes their Meritage with the same care and consideration they use for their Zin - it has to be a winner!
