- TheEngineer - 01-16-2008 Winery is a collaboration between Constellation and a first nations tribe. But I've been very high on BC Okanagan valley wines this year. Each bottle I open up reveals yet another bottle with a reason for existing.....(though not all of them..I recall my visit to Church State.....though many like their wines.....). oooh...this one is a bit toooo oaky for me. Nice nose, elegant dark berries, cherries... but it hid all that oak. Needed a bit of air to opened up a bit and come back together. Rich, highly extracted merlot....very dense dark berries, cherries, med plus finish....a bit spicy but most likely from wood.....that's quite a bit of wood....and a touch hot at the end. Might have caught it jsut a bit wrong but can see a bit of what all the fuss is about. [This message has been edited by TheEngineer (edited 01-15-2008).] |
