The blend is 70%/30%, and the fruit comes from Barossa, McLaren Vale, and the Limestone Coast. Picked it up on sale from my local Whole Foods for $21.

The nose and entry suggest fruit bomb, and this is all about cherries and blackberry jam. There is some cinnamon spiciness to it, and the texture is very smooth and creamy. My only real complaint was that there was a drying shortness to the finish, which is somewhat surprising, as you're expecting more. All in all, not bad. However, I can find better Grenache out of Spain right now for a third the price of this, and there are some great S. Rhone wines at this price point or less. So I guess what I'm saying is that I don't regret having picked up a bottle to try, though I probably won't grab any more. Also, if you have any, I'd suggest drinking it sooner rather than later, as I don't think it'll be much of an ager.
