I'm thinking that this is a mored modern, approachable side of nebbiolo, softer, slightly more subtle, and then yes, there is nice structure, some violet, and then the tannic grip. Nicely done for the price and while it is approachable, it has not entirely left the nebbiolo characteristics behind.

"mored"
the urban dictionary defines mored as meaning more bored, but can be used as an alternative for really bored....so was this a boring wine?

crips..... I meant more.. as in more modern. And i was thinking that until the wien then turned all structured and traditional on me.
