Hot diggity damn! Nose of crushed red currants, a whiff of black tar and (I swear) new John Deere; more bruised fruit and those distinctive Barbera flavors, with a good 15-second finish. With tomatoe and bell pepper pizza, 13.5% ABV and $15.99 at the discounter. An elegant wine, worthy of purchase and patience.
