Really strange evening when you pop a Barolo after a white burg...but hey...whaddevra!

Any wine that came after the 2001 Amiot Chassagne Montrachet was gonna be in trouble. This is the anti white burg. Astringenty, tannic, powerful, ...then again, maybe it takes one like it.

Bright and focused aromas of port-like flavours, cherries and cedar. Full-chested, with chewy tannins and a long, long powerful strong hitting finish. Again, very focused flavours that just attack you. This was definitely infanticide....opening up nex bottle in say... ....say ...20 year ??? ???
