I'm enjoying this rather nice bottle right now, with a simple beef red sauce pasta... and, by chance, chocolate chip cookies! It may actually pair better with the latter!?

It seems to me that this medium bodied wine has, like chiantis, some acid. ?? If not that, there is something similar between the two. Yet, I like this! Very soft tannins. 13% alcohol. I'd say appropriately priced at $15. I would buy this again if I could justify spending money on a wine I already know. Conservatively, 89/89
