From Verona, this blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Corvina is a rich, full-bodied wine that belies its modest price of only $11.49. A delight with modest chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice and cheese sauce, would be better yet with pasta and tomato sauce. 13% alcohol, so not a hotsy at all. I'll buy more.

Hotwine, not familiar with Corvina. Any info?

Corvina is the primary varietal in Valpolicella and Amarone.

Roberto, how come you just mention those commonly known wines? Why didn't you mention Nicolis Angelo & Figli S. Pietro in Cariano's Testal, Veronese. Believe 1997 was a good year. Available at WineExpo, Santa Monica.
