- cnm - 01-22-2004 I have 2 bottles of wine and would like to know what grapes were used and how long can i still keep them ? Are they still considered good wines ? 1) Primitivo di Manduria Terra E Sole 2001 14% Alcohol 2) Cantina del Nebbiolo Barbera D'Alba 1997 Denominazione Di Origine controllata - Kcwhippet - 01-22-2004 Welcome to the Wine Board, cnm. The grape varieties are Primitivo, the Italian version of Zinfandel, and Nebbiolo. They're both nice drinking wines and can be kept for another couple of years. - Thomas - 01-22-2004 Cantina del Nebbiolo--Barbera d"Alba! I think the grapes in that would be barbera. - Kcwhippet - 01-22-2004 Yes, indeed. Should read the whole thing. |
