Subdued fruit, damp earth, wet mushrooms and maybe ..... gym socks? Funk, in Roberto's lingo. Character in anyone's, a wonderful Barbera and a gift from sister-in-law at Christmas. With homemade pizza topped with mushrooms and lean ground BEEF. 13.5% ABV but not hot at all. Could use a little more bottle age.
