Can anyone help me with a question I have to find an answer to? Can you describe the stylistic differences between Californian and Italian wines? Thanks a lot.

Earth (as in dirt) and winemakers moxie enough to keep thier wines from being influenced by the "international" scene.

I'd suggest you search this board and read and research and I think you'll find some of the answers for which you are questing.

Unless you are Ricardo Cotarella in which case the answer is "none" (difference from California wines that is).
