You can screen them for me Foodie and make a recommendation. - stevebody - 04-30-2003 You probably know this wine already but, if you're feeling spendy, try the only single-varietal Corvina imported to the US, the Allegrini La Poja, about $75, sometime. Holy Cow, what a mammoth, delicious, elegant thing! I got a bottle for my birthday in '02, from my girlfriend who is now my fiancee, largely because of the La Poja. (Just kidding...I think...) As a learning experience about Corvina it's fascinating. As a purely hedonistic experience, it's even better. |
