I was pleasantly surprised by this one, being a burg of $30 price range.

Nice straight forward nose of cherries, and minerals/earth flavors with a hint of game and hmmm like a forest smell, kinda perfumey.

A bit tannic but not much with a good amount of minerality and a long persistence. Gonna go get me a few more.

Savigny-les-Beaune and Santenay are two areas I look to for reasonably priced Burgundy. I've found that some of the Savigny-les-Beaune need a little aging.
