Philippe and Maelle Carre' Courbin at Beaune.
13% alcohol by volume
Very dark purple; dense and opaque. Damson plum and black cherries mingle on the nose and palate. Smooth, gently tart, fruit notes float above the wood. A pleasure to drink. I had with turkey but I think other fowl with fruit sauce or side warm fruits would pair well such as warm cherries or plum compote.
