Had intended to serve an '89 Grunhauser Herrenberg M-S-R Auslese with Easter pork loin, but it was thoroughly cooked and unusable.... defaulted to this PN from the CA Central Coast. Nose of spice and brambleberry, a touch of earth joins on the palate, for a pleasing mouthfeel and modest finish. Seems varietally correct from my limited knowledge of PN. 13.5% alc/vol and $10. Good enough in QPR to find a place on my "go-to" list.
