Garnet color with purple flashes. Decanted 30 minutes before 1st pour. Nose of black cherry, plum, and some barnyard. The flavors are dark fruits, and the wine is a bit more muscular, with a bit of tannic grit on the tail end. The barnyard became more pronounced through the evening. If I had another, I'd give it another year or two to see if it'll soften a bit. A weightier wine, overall. Alc. 13.7% It was a gift, but runs in the neighborhood of $20. FWIW, WS 86. Said drink now, but as I said, I'd give it some more time.
