- VouvrayHead - 10-17-2006 $17 Really nice basic burgundy. Has perfumy sweet cherry and moss aromas, bright strawberries and slightly sour cherries have plenty of flavor saturation with a silky body and nice finish with a touch of spice. light tannins --I can't imagine it improving from where it is-- everything is already in the right place Beautiful wine at an almost everyday price. Much better than Drouhin's Vero at the same $. [This message has been edited by VouvrayHead (edited 10-17-2006).] - wondersofwine - 10-19-2006 Thanks for the report. I'm looking forward to trying and buying some 2004 Burgundies. |
