Imported by The Stacole Company, Boca Raton, FL. 13% alcohol. Burgundy color; translucent.
Dark cherries and wood on the nose. Some earthiness on the palate. It stood up well to a New York strip steak, broiled without sauce, and German-style potato salad from the grocery deli counter (made with vinegar, no mayo, and bacon bits and herbs). This wine was better with food than as a sipper on its own. It was an acceptable choice with meat but not exceptional IMHO--not thrilling. I had hoped for more.
