- winoweenie - 05-11-2008 Made from the best lots from various vineyards all in the SC Mtns. Offered as a wine club selection this will morph into an outstanding Pinot given another 8-10. Pretty derned tasty as is howm-so-ebberly. Deep ruby. Nose has predominate black fruits with smoked bacon, a touch of the barney and spice. All come over on the palate along with some sweet red fruit(stawberry). Keen entry, weighty center and a 4+ lapper finish. 91/93 28 14,4% alc. 24 cases made. WW - TheEngineer - 05-11-2008 24 cases....wow. That is like one barrel! Talk about small supply. - wondersofwine - 05-12-2008 I love the Burgundies/Pinot Noirs with the smoked bacon flavors! - winoweenie - 05-12-2008 This outstanding producer is about as " Boutique " as it gets.
