Drew posted on the 1996 version of this.
Dark red-purple with pretty bright red glints under the light. Translucent.
Nose of cherries and mocha. Taste of black cherries, touch of mocha, cinnamon? Smooth and velvety. Medium body and medium-long finish. Matched nicely with chicken and Edam cheese. Held up over 3 days recorked in refirgerator. Overall impression--smooth, smooth, smooth. (I think I got this at the grocery store--will have to look for more.)

Jed is a very talented winemaker IMHO. He is turning out some great P/Q bottlings under his Shooting Star label. Posted on his terrific 97 SS Cab awhilst' back. WW

I had a Shooting Star Grenache (?) many moons ago that was a killer for only $7 a bottle.
