Almost opaque, but with huge fruits in the glass that said " Me Big Pinot Feller " Every-thing about this wine is big.Entry, Center and finish , PLUS I couldn't believe that this sucker had 14.5% alcohol as it wasn't the least bit hot. Me Like. The other 11 will be allowed to rest for another 3-4 years before trying again. Bucko, this is bigger than the McCreas! Brings back memories of the late 70's and early 80's Joe Swans. Might have to pick it up. Barnesy - Bucko - 05-23-2001 Man! If it is like the Swans of the 70s, you better latch onto a case of this puppy. I was drinking late 70s Swan Zins and Pinots up until 1997, when I drank them all. Bucko - winoweenie - 08-21-2001 Barnsey and Bucko, sorry about ignoring these posts but I musta' spaced it, or was outta' town. The price was 34 at the case price, and yes Bucko, I was priviliged to drink every wine Joe made from his 68 home-made for drinking only zin to his 87's, his last hands on bottlings. And believe me, this sucker will really remind you of his 70s pinots. The only reason I pulled this thread back up was the article in the Speculator.By jove the weenier found a blind acorn or sumpin' like that. WW - winoweenie - 08-27-2001 'Jes fer you Buck-fisherman.
