The grapes are from Casa Carneros. The cork was dry and it crumbled--I used a tea sieve to remove cork pieces.
Leggy on the sides of the glass. Opaque purple color. May be starting downhill but still quite drinkable. Purple fruit is predominant. A little drying on the underside of the tongue at the finish. Some elegance. Some pepper notes. The oak is beginning to show through as the fruit begins to fade. This was my last bottle of this but I still have a Casa Carneros Pinot Noir.
