Looks good, smells OK, but dang! Too much oak on the entry, and gets worse on the mid-palate. She liked it so I'll probably have to buy a few more, but would prefer not to. 14.2% alc/vol and $12.99. With Easter pork roast, garlic mashers, pan gravy, steamed broccoli and yellow squash, finished with a dark chocolate square. Could swear the oak is in the "swimming toasted chip" style (my term), whereby a quantity of charred oak chips is added to the must at the outset of fermentation. Don't care for that affect at all.
