The final chapter in my '98 Gevrey saga. Ruby color; cherry and mineral nose, also a good whiff of barnyard which blew off in about 30 seconds. Light to medium bodied, red cherry with a bitter flavor that opened up after 20 minutes into a coffee flavor. Not much tannin. Decent length on the finish. A nice wine, well balanced, and more or less ready to drink. However, it lacks the depth and body I expect in a $35 bottle.
